It can cause an engorged glan penis that is reddened. It’s usually followed by inflammation, itchiness and soreness as well as the usual pus-filled blisters. Circumcision during childhood is more frequent for boys that haven’t had the procedure. This is due to the skin surrounding their foreskin doesn’t provide enough protection.
